I would be lying if I didn’t admit to have laughed out loud a couple of dozen times while watching this monologue. How can I not laugh when the satirical comedy used to make fun of Hollywood’s biggest stars is done through a platform that not only allows it to happen, but encourages it as well! I mean hey, I have nothing against Hollywood but when Hollywood stars make fun of other Hollywood stars, it’s friggin hilarious.
Am I the only one that thinks it’s cool to see Hollywood stars sitting at dinner tables all mingled amongst each other in mixed up combinations? It’s pretty cool to see them as “humans amongst humans” instead of “rich people amongst even richer people”.
Nevertheless, the Golden Globe awards are definitely a form of entertainment of its own and I’m all for cuddling up with a sweetheart to be dazzled, and frazzled by the stars that we watch on the big screen and in TV land. I found it particularly funny when the mentioned George Clooney receiving his Life Time Achievement Award – you’ll see why when you watch the video below!
