To follow up a very successful release of his first EP “Resonate” on refused, Refraction from Napoli presents us with the 12th episode of refused. radio with one hour of feisty techno. refused. has shed light on a number of young DJ/Producers from around the world, and Refraction has definitely earned his appraisal as he enters the world of underground techno.
Refraction is best known for his deep, dark tantalizing basslines and perplex use of synths, beats and manipulated vocals. Refraction opens this episode with a very cool track titled “Atoc” by Carbon. We also hear from Robot Love, Patrick Berk, The Southern, Paride Saraceni and fellow refused. producers Kevin Catro, and A++ make an appearance. To finish this set off we hear from the Legend Dubfire in collaboration with Oliver Huntemann feature Xenia Beliayeva.

ABOUT REFRACTION
Refraction is a DJ/Producer born and rained in Napoli (Italy). His first interactions with electronic music was when he was 15 years old, attending parties in his hometown at disco Metropolis with “Angels of Love” also involved with PR for some year.
Influenced by house music legends like Roger Sanchez, Tedd Patterson, Danny Howells, Francois K, Carl Cox just to name a few, he decided to create his own musical dimension to give a life to his creativity and emotions.
He is a versatile artist, his sound is particularly characterized by experimental sounds and FX, different grooves and structures, dark, brooding and creepy atmospheres paired with strong, weighty and rolling basslines.
Refraction has released on labels such as Sci+Tec Digital Audio (Dubfire’s label) , Audio Elite , Amazing Records , Alleanza , Natura Viva , Groovant Music , Stickrecordings , Sui Generiz , refused. , Black Swan Recordings to name a few, supported by the biggest artists on the scene as Richie Hawtin, Dubfire, Marco Bailey, Sian, Karotte, Troy Pierce, Pig & Dan, Arjun Vagale, Sinisa Tamamovic, Macromism etc.
