As summer transitions into fall, the weather gets a little cooler. Don’t let the cold weather get you down because there are still a ton of outdoor activities you can enjoy. Just throw on a cozy sweater and grab a hot beverage!
Take a walk through Toronto’s beautiful Trinity Bellwoods Park. While you’re there, give Nadège Patisserie a try. Indulge in some delicious colourful macarons or try their rich and creamy chocolat chaud (hot chocolate).
Toronto’s Harbourfront Centre has a lot to offer whether your interests lie in shopping, art, or indulging in food. From today until September 7th, the Toronto Vegetarian Association’s Vegetarian Food Festival is celebrating its 30th anniversary. The Leslieville Flea will also be selling vintage, up-cycled furniture, collectibles and other goods.

For all the art lovers, Scotibank’s Nuit Blanche will be on October 4th this year. The 12-hour event goes from sunset to sunrise. The core of downtown Toronto will be transformed into a contemporary art exhibit with projects by hundreds of artists. Because downtown is so large, the TTC usually offers a day pass exclusively for Nuit Blanche so that you can attend all the exhibits that interest you!
It’s hard not to notice that stores are already bringing out the Halloween décor and candy. The autumn season goes hand-in-hand with the wackiest holiday of the year – Halloween! Start preparing your bloody costumes because the annual Toronto Zombie Walk will be on Saturday, October 25th at Nathan Philips Square. Going along with the theme of Halloween, Canada’s Wonderland’s Halloween Haunts will begin on the night of Friday, October 3rd and continue on Fridays – Sundays throughout October. The theme park will be crawling with ghouls and ghosts dying to scare you. The rides are still operational as they are in the summer, but Halloween Haunt also includes attractions such as haunted houses and haunted mazes.
How will you be celebrating autumn?
