He says he was about to ask for her hand in marriage. She says he brutally beat her up.
War Machine is a UFC fighter, formally known as Jon Koppenhaver. Christy Mack, his then girlfriend, claims that he showed up at her house last Friday night and attacked her and her unarmed friend, leaving her with several broken bones and ruptured organs.

“My injuries include 18 broken bones around my eyes, my nose is broken in two places, I am missing teeth and several more are broken. I am unable to chew, or see out of my left eye. My speech is slurred from my swelling and lack of teeth. I have a fractured rib and severely ruptured liver from a kick to my side,” Mack, 23, tweeted alongside pictures of her injuries.
“My leg is so badly injured I have not been able to walk on my own. I also attained several lesions from a knife he got from my kitchen. He pushed the knife into me in some areas such as my hand, ear and head. He also sawed much of my hair off with this dull knife.”
The 32-year-old War Machine has been missing since Mack has made these allegations.
He has, however, defended himself via Twitter in response to Mack’s claims.

“I’m not a bad guy, I went to surprise my girlfriend, help her set up her show and to give her an engagement ring and ended up fighting for my life,” he tweeted on Sunday. “I only wish that man hadn’t been there and that Christy and I would be happily engaged. I don’t know why I’m so cursed. One day truth will come out.”
Convicted of assault in 2010, he also tweeted, “The cops will never give me fair play, never believe me. Still deciding what to do, but at the end of the day it’s all just heart-breaking.”
The cops aren’t the only ones on War Machine’s case. Duane “DOG” Chapman, famous reality bounty hunter star, tweeted at 12:08a.m. today that he is giving War Machine 24 hours to turn himself in.
