Exodus Festival – Las Vegas
It happens once a year in May. A festival of music, movement, and many taboo events hits Las Vegas for five days over the long weekend. The Exodus festival is where Canada meets USA for a wild weekend filled with pools, parties, prestigious shows and whatever else can happen in Vegas.

Gearing up for its fifth anniversary, the Exodus festival brings some of the best DJ’s in the world together for a weekend of pool parties, nightclubs, shopping, gambling, and more. This weekend event is spread out over different hotels and can be accessed by those with participating wristbands. All tickets and passes can be purchased online through the Exodus Festival website. There are some amazing deals for women so a girl’s weekend away is extremely feasible. Men on the other hand have to pay a little more, but for those knowing what they are getting into, the cost is well worth it. There are travel packages available as well. Every hotel involved is offering special deals for those staying for the festival. One thing that Exodus is advertising is their all access wristband. They use the slogan, “5 Nightclubs, 4 pool parties, 1 price, 0 hassles.”

Every pool party requires swimwear to be worn and every evening at the club requires a dress code as well. At the pool parties, people can rent cabanas to give themselves some privacy. Privacy could be needed too as the old saying goes, “What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.” When reading through the survival guide posted by the Exodus Festival people themselves, they say condoms are a must at all times, as you never know when an opportunity will arise. Another thing mentioned in the survival guide is the hint to drink water throughout the day amongst drinking alcoholic beverages. As the temperatures in Las Vegas can get very warm, dehydration can happen without warning.

While 2013 set records with the number of Canadians invading Las Vegas for this event; the organizers are already planning to break all their records with their fifth anniversary. For those attending, enjoy a May long weekend that you will never forget, and depending on how heavily you party, you may never recover from either!
