Concerts in March 2016

Hopefully by the time these hot concerts roll around we can finally say spring has sprung. We’re not holding our breath on it though because weather does what weather wants. We do know that March marks the almost there mark of winter being over and no matter what the weather will be doing, these venues will be filled with hot artists and good times.

Hoodie Allen | March 3rd | Danforth Music Hall (Tickets)

This Indie hip-hop artist surprisingly quit a job at Google before deciding to be a music artist full time. That sacrifice would not go unnoticed as after several mixtapes later he garnered a buzz and he dropped debut studio album “People Keep Talking” which sold over 30,000 in his first week. He’s currently promoting his newest album “Happy Camper.”

Tinashe | March 4th | Phoenix Concert Theatre (Tickets)

6th Annual ELLE Women In Music Celebration Presented By eBay

Tinashe has been everywhere since her debut single “2 On” hit the charts two years ago and she’s been working hard ever since. Success has definitely been a Joyride for this woman, there’s no wonder why “Joyride” is the name of her tour.

Logic | March 8th | Phoenix Concert Theatre (Tickets)

This Def Jam artist dropped a debut rap album two years ago and it debuted in the top five and sold over 73,000 copies in the first week. He’s currently touring promoting his sophomore album “The Incredible True Story.”

Rachel Platten | March 16th | The Opera House (Tickets)

Chances are you’ve heard this 2015 breakout artist’s “Fight Song” for a good part of 2015. Her album “Wildfire” debuted at number five on the Billboard charts and received quite the commercial success.

Ginuwine | March 24th | The Danforth Music Hall (Tickets)

If we have to tell you who Ginuwine is, we’re sorry that your ears have been deprived. If anyone is talking about 90s R&B and doesn’t drop Ginuwine’s name tell them you don’t need that kind of negativity in your life and walk away.

As usual this list isn’t complete of all the concerts in the city but it’s enough to get you started and enough to get your wallets empty. What concert are you looking forward to in March?
