Piknic Électronik Sets Attendance Record

September 24th came and went and Piknic Électronik celebrated year fifteen with the biggest crowd yet. Over 112,000 people danced at the new Piknic Électronik venue Plaine des jeux. It’s as beautiful as the detail oriented event. This is the third time Piknic Électronik has ever seen over 100,000 people. It’s hard to believe a team of 570 seasonal workers are behind such a grand event. The crowd size has come a long way since their inaugural 217 people fifteen years ago. The hard work and dedication that has gone into the festival has come a long way.

Piknic Électronik Sets New Attendance Record

This year’s brand-new location also gave piknickers something to celebrate about. The décor and the size of the venue made fans fall in love with the event all over again. This year people danced to over one hundred musical acts from all walks of life. Tiga and Jacques Greene, Motor City Drum Ensemble, and even Norway’s Prins Thomas were among them. If Piknic Électronik is how fans got the year started, we can’t wait for Igloofest this winter. For all things Igloofest do stay tuned to the official Igloofest Site and here at Love This City TV of course! Were you a Piknicker this year? What festival have you hit up this year?
