Summer is almost over: but don’t fret, you can say sayonara to summer by grabbing all your friends and heading to Electric Island. This is the last of the series for the year so you don’t want to miss this party on Electric Island on September 7th. Expect lots of fun, food and rain or shine the show will go on!
Adam Beyer, Loco Dice and Recondite are a couple of the performers this go around. Also on the roster are Frank and Tony, Jamie Kidd, Terence Kissner and Members Only. This lineup is not only impressive but it’s sure to sell out quickly.
Adam Beyer is the Swedish techno scene when it comes to music. To say his radio show “Drumcode Live” is a hit would be the understatement of the year. He’s thorough when it comes to arranging music to his liking. Beyer has two record labels, six albums and he’s dedicated to music. Even his girlfriend is a DJ.
Loco Dice is making quite the rounds when it comes to performances this summer. He’s also performing at Aruba’s Electric Festival. It’s not a case of luck that he’s in high demand. This rapper and DJ has grown up on music. He’s particular and artistic and he’s no stranger to the stage as he’s DJed for the likes of Ice Cube and Usher.
Recondite means “little known” but everyone’s heard of this techno DJ who’s trying to create his own sound. Recondite has quite the balance in his music and you can tell it’s intentional. This musician, producer, artist and label owner is truly perfecting all his crafts and pulling from whatever inspires him. He’s not afraid to unapologetically be himself and that shows in his music.
Think of this as the last hurrah before we have to pull out her fall boots and our hoodies. Think of this as a getaway to clear your mind before school starts. Tickets start at $39 and you can grab you a pair here. In case you need more persuasion (which you shouldn’t) take a look at how much energy went into the last Electric Island party. You get all this goodness known as music for $39 bucks. What else do you have planned on Labor Day?
*Don’t forget to dress for whatever, because the party goes on rain or shine! It’s hard not have a good time with good music, good drinks, friends and the Toronto skyline.
