Open on Tuesdays from 3 pm to 7 pm for the duration of 5th May to 27th October, this is the ninth year that Trinity Bellwoods Farmers Market is up and running. Not only can you purchase the products here, you can also volunteer, thus giving it a real community feel. Among the items being sold are pickles, fishes, coffee beans, dairy products, crackers and even ice pops. The ice pop art in itself is worth checking out.

 

 

 

Soraurens Farmer’s Market

Running throughout the year, the Soraurens Farmer’s Market is open on Mondays from 3 pm to 7 pm. Established in 2008, the Soraurens Farmer’s Market was voted as the best farmers market for the year 2013 by NOW Magazine. The fact that it runs throughout the year ensures that you get fresh seasonal produces, such as strawberries, spinach, kale, asparagus, varieties of herbs and a whole lot of other products. Then you are also given a choice of fresh bread, meats, eggs and even locally produced chocolates. That is not all though. You even get readymade pizzas, salads, sandwiches, soups and even oysters to keep the hunger away while you visit and shop!

Yet another farmers market that is open throughout the year. This one is open on Thursdays from 3 pm to 7 pm. The commodities for sale include an extensive list and you will be spoilt for choice. You can buy red meat, white meat, poultry, dairy products, honey, honey comb, organic dark chocolate, vegan barbecue and even vegan ice cream cookie sandwiches.
