The BPM Festival makes its European debut next month and expect lots of great music, beautiful scenery and quite a bit of Canada in the lineup. With over 120 acts in the lineup you’ll hear music from all over the world while taking in breathtaking ocean views. Art Department’s come a long way since 2009. Johnny White and Kenny Glasgow teamed up and before they knew it the rest was history. Art Department are legends. Since forming the band, has been one of the hottest acts around the world. They’ve even had a residency in Ibiza. The festivals under Art Department’s belt ranges from Lollapalooza to EDC.
This British-born, Canadian-raised artist is always pushing boundaries when it comes to music. He’s a Detroit legend knowing for mixing the best of old school and new. He’s has won numerous accolades for his contribution to the underground music circuit.
Paskal Daze has spun records alongside greats like Steve Angello and Danny Tenaglia. That alone says much about his musical genius. He’s no stranger to the BPM circuit as he’s headlined the show before. He’s performed all over the world and he’s not stopping any time soon.
Nitin has decades of experience under his belt and has spun records for thousands of crowds. He’s come a long way from throwing house parties. Nitin is passionate about every single thing he puts his mind to and that passion shows it in every performance. He finds ways to foster new artist and old.
Nathan Barato doesn’t just spin records at parties, he is the party! He’s made a name for himself by playing throughout Toronto which led to international fans. He’s been known for his diverse sound and his willingness to always create something fresh.
Known for being half of Art Department, everything Kenny Glasgow touches turns to gold. He’s had a following since the nineties and hasn’t slowed down since. He’s been on labels ranging from Jinx, Family Recordings and Roger Sanchez’s Narcotic.
Julien does his thing and he’s not afraid to make sure his sound stands out. He was so dedicated to music that he used to skip classes to make said music. He played the very first BPM Festival in Play Del Carmen back in 2008 and he’s back to make his mark almost a decade later.
Italian-Canadian musician John Acquaviva has been making music for decades on in. He’s been on numerous DJ Magazine lists and has been all over the world sharing his music. His music is still in demand.
