7 Things to Do in the Fall

No one wants to admit it but fall is around the corner. We’ll miss the sunshine and the beaches but there are some cool things about fall like the pretty colors and all of the holidays. We don’t know which one we like more Thanksgiving or Halloween. Toronto has quite the bit of offerings when it comes to having fun and saying goodbye to all the sunshine.

Get Lost in a Corn Maze

Cooper’s Corn Maze at Cooper’s CSA Farm & Maze

Corn mazes are pretty darn awesome. Family and friends get lost and found and enjoy going around and around until you find your way out. And where there’s corn mazes, there’s most likely pumpkin patches and farmer’s markets. Who doesn’t like picking a pumpkin to take home and carve? It’s like a rite of passage when it comes to fall.

Try a Pumpkin Flavored “Anything

It isn’t officially fall until your favorites release pumpkin flavored offerings. From M&Ms to lattes, everything is pumpkin flavored in the fall. And if you’re not a fan of the caffeine kick you can always try pumpkin flavored cider.

Check out the Raptors

Air Canada Centre tends to fill up in the fall because basketball season starts again. Cheer on Toronto’s basketball team with some of your friends. What’s better than cheering on the players and taunting the visiting teams?

Check Out Oktoberfest

Oktoberfest celebrations come with great ales and nice food. Expect Ontario Place to be jam packed with people enjoying the festivities. There will even be a giant Ferris wheel and a corn maze. That sounds like all types of utter awesomeness and not a dull moment.

Go Apple Picking

Want to know what’s better than going to the grocery store and buying a big bag of apples? How about going to an orchard and picking your own apples. It’ll feel rewarding and there are so many places around the GTA where you can bring home baskets of apples if that’s your thing. Just think about how many apple pies you can make with the freshly picked apples. They’ll taste like nothing but love.
